Matt.6:12 - Forgive us for our sins [debts], just as we have forgiven those who sinned against us [our debtors; sin is pictured as a debt owed].
Matt.6:43-48 - Love All People
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy [Lev. 19:18].’
But I say to you, love your enemies. Pray for those who hurt [persecute] you.
If you do this, […so that] you will be true children [children; or sons] of your Father in heaven. [ For] He causes the [His] sun to rise on evil people and on good people, and He sends rain to those who do right and to those who do wrong [on the just/righteous and the unjust/unrighteous].
If you love only the people who love you, you will get no reward. Even the tax collectors do that.
And if you are nice only to your friends [greet only your brothers], you are no better than other people. Even those who don’t know God [the Gentiles; pagans] are nice to their friends [do the same]. So [Therefore] you must be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Luke 6:35,36 - Do Good To All People
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without hoping [expecting] to get anything back. Then you will have a great reward, and you will be children of the Most High God, because He is kind even to people who are ungrateful and full of sin [wicked; evil]. Show mercy [Be compassionate], just as your Father shows mercy [is compassionate].
Prov.25:21,22 - Feed All People
If your enemy [one you hate] is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink. Doing this will be like pouring burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you [Rom. 12:19–21].
Luke 23:33,34 - When they came to a place called the Skull, the soldiers crucified Jesus and the criminals—one on his right and the other on his left. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, because they don’t know what they are doing.”
Luke 23:39-43 - A thief on the cross receives salvation seeing the forgiving nature of Jesus Christ.
Conclusion: Let us forgive all those who sinned against us and demonstrate our Father's love that would draw the people closer to Him.
