All these scriptures are in New Living Translation (NLT) version:
Rom.6:13 - Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.
Eph.4:21-24 - Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from Him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God - truly righteous and holy.
Eph.4:28 - If you are a thief, quit stealing. Instead, use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need.
Eph.4:31,32 - Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
Eph.5:4 - Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes - these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God.
Eph.5:11 - Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.
Eph.5:18 - Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Phil.4:6 - Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.
1Tim.4:7 - Do not waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives’ tales. Instead, train yourself to be godly.
1Pet.3:9 - Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and He will grant you His blessing.
